Serving Others
Outreach ministries have long been a priority at St. George’s. We offer our financial resources as well as our hands-on energy to a number of service organizations and projects. The Dragon Thrift Shop and Preschool on our campus serve the local community; and we are active in a number of ministries in the greater Los Angeles area, as well as Pine Ridge Reservation (Lakota) in South Dakota, and the Amani Ya Juu project for displaced women in Africa.

We also offer our time, energy, and spiritual gifts within the church. Most active members of St. George’s serve in at least one ministry; many of us serve in several. Acting as a greeter on Sunday morning, helping with coffee hour goodies, or joining in a work-day project on campus are all good ways to get started in ministry.

Look over our ministries below. If you’re in need of help, or would like to offer your help to others, please contact us so that we can connect you with the services appropriate for you.
